Madeline the Movie Star!

I haven't recorded our little Madeline yet so this is the first of many. Not much activity here but she is so cute i wanted to show you all with something more than photos. I know that i need to improve my video recording techniques but this is my first time so cut me some slack. Also, sorry for my annoying voice, although it would have been quite boring without the commentary and just watching her move around:)

4 Weeks Old!!

Maddy is already thinking about the future of our country and can't wait to make it the best it can be:)

Madeline listens so well when her parents talk to her

It was really loud at the Red wings game so Bri and I took our towels and folded them up to protect little Maddy's ears, it doesn't look like it but she actually slept thru the entire game

The three of us at Madeline's first Red Wings game

At only 4 weeks our little Maddy has quite the social life. Last Friday she went to her very first Red Wings game. I didn't get to my first game until last year. I didn't even think of how loud it would be at the game until we got there. To protect her ears Brian and I folded up the playoff towels they gave us and stuffed them inside her hood. She slept thru the whole game so it must have worked. On Saturday she went to her first birthday party and then of course Sunday was Mother's day. I had a GREAT first mother's day and Bri and Maddy were too good to me. Nana Linda, Aunt Megan and Aunt Leigh and Uncle DJ came to visit and Brian grilled out for us. Tomorrow she will attend her second birthday party for Woodke at BW3's which should be every exciting for her. All in all a very busy 4 weeks and so much more fun to follow. Everyday she becomes more and more alert and is even paying attention to herself in the mirror and loves listening to me when i read to her. She stares at the bright pictures in the books. It's been only 4 weeks since she has entered our lives but i can't even imagine a single minute without her.

Meeting Vanessa for the first time

Madeline has been meeting so many people. She is so good about it though and loves being passed around from one person to the next. She just stares at everyone and looks as though she is just soaking them in. I think she is going to be quite the social butterfly...... what a surprise huh?:)

3 1/2 Weeks!

I cannot believe our little Maddy is already over 3 weeks old. She has changed so much since we brought her home i can't even begin to conceive how much more she will change. She has already attended two Tiger's games, a Loon's game and tonight she is going to her first Red Wing's game. Last night Madeline slept thru the entire night letting mommy and daddy catch up on their sleep. Tomorrow is our little friend Gavin's 1st birthday party and so Maddy will have a busy weekend.

Maddy Updates!!!

So lots has happened with our little Maddy since the last blog update and since i was having computer issues wasn't able to update. Let's start from the beginning....... On Wednesday May 2nd, Madeline attended her very first Detroit Tiger's baseball game. She first started at Harry's and then rode the shuttle over to the stadium. Uncle Dj and Nana Linda joined us for the game and we all have a lot of fun. Madeline slept thru most of the excitement but cheered loudly when awake. We did miss her daddy an awful lot but will look forward to him joining us for the game this week. Madeline also went to Saginaw this weekend to meet for the very first time her great-grandma Marlyn and great-grandma Joyce along with very good friends April, Peyton, Vanessa, Pam, Sue, and many others. Saturday night Maddy went to her first Great Lakes Loons game where she got to meet very good friends Sarah and Drew. Didn't stay long at the game due to freezing cold weather but Sarah and Drew graciously invited us back to their place so the party could continue:) All in all a very good weekend with lots of visitors and lots of fun. There are also some pictures included with great-grandma Carlson from Auntie Leigh's graduation weekend.

All of the Great-Grandmas were so excited to meet their Maddy. For Grandma Carlson it's her second great-grandchild and for Grandma Marlyn and Grandma Joyce it's their very first.
